Weaning from Baby Formula to Cow's Milk
From Mommyplace.com WiKI Page
Most Pediatricians recommend weaning a baby from formula to whole milk at age 1. If you are anxious to make this move earlier (especially if you don't want to use formuala at all), it's worth it to ask your pediatrician. They may allow you to a few months earlier.
Introduce whole milk slowly by providing baby a mixture of whole milk and formula. I started introducing with a ration of ¼ whole milk and ¾ formula and then progressively increased the ratio until I reached 100% baby whole milk.
When your child reaches age 2, you should switch him/her to 2% or fat free milk.
