Favorite Songs for Babies and Toddlers

I did not know any songs for babies and toddlers when I had my son. Here is a list of some favorite and I've found that you can google most of these songs if you need to learn the words.

1) The Wheels on the Bus

2) Down by the station

3) The more we get together

4) Row your boat

5) Twinkle little star

6) The Itsy Bitsy Spider

7) Three little ducks go out to play

8) Five little monkeys jumping on the bed

9) Don't forget to start singing the ABC song early!

10) Heads, shoulders, knees and toes

11) If you are happy and you know it

Here are some favorite baby/toddler CDs:

1) Anything by Raffi

2) Anything from Baby Einstein

3) Veggie Tales (The Silly Songs from Larry CD is a big hit in our house)

4) Wiggles - especially some of their early CDs with classics such as Hot Potato

Consider enrolling your child in a music class. You will learn even more songs in these classes and there are studies that show music classes help with brain development. Some resources for finding a music class near you are:
