Buick Enclave....LOVE IT!!

Did a TON of research to find a CUV (crossover utility vehicle...not a minivan but not an SUV...want better gas mileage than an SUV, but like the look; want the benefits of a minivan but don't like the look). The same car kept popping up on all the major sites (Edmunds, Car and Driver, etc.), which was Buick Enclave.

We LOVE this car. It has seating for 7 (or 8 if you prefer a bench seat in the second row...our second row has 2 captains chairs which I love because it leaves an aisleway as in a minivan to access the third row). The rear row is actually adult sized in terms of leg room. It has oodles of cup holders and Mom-friendly attributes galore. We also got the rear DVD/entertainment center and navigation system.

It is not a cheap car, but I read in one review that you'd pay $70-$80K for this car if it was German or Japanese. We paid half that. Yet, it feels SO luxurious, is a great looking car, drives wonderfully and is chock full of extras and special "wow" factors. Plus the best safety rating possible.

Also, JD Power and Associates just rated Buick (yes! Buick!) #1 in long-term reliability over Honda, Acura, Lexus, Toyota, etc....over all other manufacturers (yes! Buick! Who knew?), so we're feeling good about long-term service record.
